Ever since signing up for Newsvine's Beta test way back in the day and hoping to get an invite. I was skeptical about what Newsvine will bring and if it will be anything similar to what Digg has going?

I have to say - I am thrilled at what Newsvine is and how they conduct their prodcut line. I love it...I absolutely 100% love it. It's 100% fresh cup of good ole' morning coffee.

I wake up and there are two things on my tabs in Firefox - Newsvine and Digg. Newsvine is more of my newspaper in the morning before heading out to work in the financial sector. At Newsvine I get my local region information of what is going on in the categories I am most interested in: Business, Sports, Technology, Science, other (depends on the mood). Digg is my form of entertainment of good links, like fark, except it is posted by people and moved to the frontpage.

Combining both of them its a good morning to wake up to each day to get some good topics to discuss in the work place or on instant messengers with your buddies.

But, Newsvine...by far has impressed me. It has a some what way to improve, but it won't take them long to reach the level of product that will make them the place to visit to get the latest information in the world.

For this...I salute and raise a toast to Newsvine on a very awesome job done.

Cheersch ;)

I wholeheartedly agree. Job well done. Now just wait 8 months and Newsvine will be bought by Yahoo.

I hope NV won't sell out to Yahoo or anyone else. It's an awesome product just keep free from Yahoo - Just look what happened to flickr (meh).

Wow, definitely did not realize that someone already said exactly what I was thinking.
